Lent and Easter Schedule

Friday, March 22 — Pysanka workshop

When: 7 to 9 p.m., in person

Where: At the church, 1290 Ogilvie Road 

What: Learn how to decorate Easter eggs in the traditional Ukrainian way with Kathie Kompass

Who: Anyone age 10 and up

Cost: $20

Sunday, March 24 — Palm Sunday

8:30 a.m.: In person, spoken Eucharist

10:30 a.m.: In person and online, sung Eucharist, starting with a palm procession from the portico, weather permitting.

Thursday, March 28 — Maundy Thursday

7 p.m.: In person and online, a beautiful service where we hear about Jesus' last supper with his friends on the night of his betrayal and the call to serve one another. Washing of feet for those who would like to participate, and Eucharist.

Vigil — Thursday evening to Friday morning, March 28 to 29

Friday, March 29 — Good Friday

10:30 a.m.: In person and online, a solemn service commemorating Jesus' trial and crucifixion with veneration of the cross.

Sunday, March 31 — Easter Sunday

6:30 a.m.: In person only, New Fire of Easter outside (weather permitting). Bring a bell to ring in the resurrection! 

10:30 a.m.: In person and online, choral Eucharist and Easter egg hunt
