Holy Week Schedule

April 17 - Tenebrae

7pm Candlelit Service

Tenebrae is the Latin word for "darkness" or "shadows."
One of the most visible features of the service is the gradual extinguishing of candles until only a single candle, considered a symbol of our Lord, remains.

April 18 - Maundy Thursday

7pm Service

We will be commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus with his friends, and his final moments in the Garden of Gethsemane. The service will conclude with the "stripping of the altar", as the finery of our worship space is ceremonially removed, and we depart in silence.

A Parish Prayer Vigil will take place following the service; concluding with the Good Friday Service at 10:30am.

April 19 - Good Friday

10:30am Service

This morning we observe the day Jesus was crucified and died. This is one of the most important and powerful services of the Christian year, where we mourn the death of Jesus.

During the first half of the service, there will be children-focused "Stations of the Cross" for our younger attendees; led by Rev. Geoff.

April 20 - Holy Saturday

8pm Easter Vigil

A beautiful, quiet experience of Easter, beginning with darkness and candles, journeying through our story of salvation, and ultimately celebrating Easter together.

April 01 - Easter Sunday

10:30am Choral Eucharist

Join us in our celebration of the Lord's Resurrection on Easter Morning! This is an intergenerational service celebrating the most important day in the Christian year!

Please consider parking at the Hulse-Playfair-McGarry parking lot, across Aviation - especially if we are still enjoying our parking lot snow mountains.
